On Monday January 12th thirty four year old Raymond "Killa" Gentle was gunned down on Kraal Road when he was supervising the construction of a home. Police issued a release stating that the killing was gang related.
Today police arrested and charged eighteen year old Corwin Bennett of Plues Street for murder. Police did not say what if any is his gang connection.
According to a press release sent out on January 13th Killa Gentle was the known leader of the Kraal Road Crips Gang and a known Drug-Trafficker. The Press release went on to say that there was an ongoing rivalry between members of the George Street Bloods/Gill Street Gang and members of the Kraal Road Crips and Southside gangsters (SSG).
