On Saturday morning, 47 year old Honduran National Miguel Manzilla was shot in a robbery attempt on King Street.

According to police, Manzilla was walking on King Street towards Albert Street when a man approached him armed with a firearm. Manzilla is today listed in a stable condition at the Karl Huesner Hospital. And then on on Saturday night, 19 year old Clement Bol was shot on West Canal. It happened around 7 o'clock. According to Bol a man known to him as Akeem Humes, aka Bap, fired four shots in his direction. Bol was standing at a Chinese Store on West Canal. At the time the shots were fired, a 3 year old little girl was outside the shop. Bol believed he was not the intended target, but as a result of trying to shelter the 3 year old child from the bullets, he was shot in the process. Bol was shot in the left leg and was released from the Karl Huesner Memorial Hospital. Police recovered three point 45 expended shells from the scene. They are now looking for Akeem Humes in connection with the shooting.
