As we told you at the top of the newscast there was a shooting in Belize City at 6:00 pm this evening.
It happened at the corner of Vernon and Hibiscus streets in the Lake Independence Area and three persons were shot.
Our team on the ground has confirmed that the victims are 17 year old twins Daniel and Darnell Puerto along with Ian Martinez.
The twins were reportedly standing in front of their house talking to Ian Martinez when two young men walked up, shot the three of them and walked off.
Best reports from the KHMH suggest that two persons are dead - but that awaits confirmation.
