Embattled CEO of the Citrus Products of Belize Limited Henry Canton called us today to say, basically, that the news of his death has been greatly exaggerated.
We reported that he has been fired, and indeed the Citrus Growers as majority shareholder of the company passed a resolution declaring just that - but in fact he remains in office, not fired, and very much in charge of the company.
Canton told us that is because the resolution must have support of at least two of the minority shareholder directors from Banks holdings - and it does not.
