Twenty Four year old Nicholas Bergen, a massage therapist who came to Belize yesterday on a cruise ship pleaded guilty to marijuana possession today.
Bergen was caught yesterday when he was walking in the tourism village and a police officer saw him acting suspiciously. The officer searched his knapsack and found 17.5 grams of marijuana. He was taken to court today where he pleaded guilty to possession and was fined $750.00 dollars.
