Belizeans came out to support the Japanese people on Saturday. In four hours $13,000.00 dollars was raised at the Japan Day Charity Fair in support of the earthquake and tsunami victims in Japan. The event, held at ITVET was a success and the money will be sent for relief efforts in Japan through the International Red Cross and Red Crescent headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland.
