An American that was detained briefly by Orange Walk Police whilst investigating last week's murder of 54 year old Isis Nassar is now facing deportation to the US where he is wanted for sexual battery of a person over 16 years.
41 year old David McClain is facing charges in the state of Oklahoma and is listed as a wanted sex offender in that state. He was questioned by Orange Walk police detectives last week and detained as a person of interest during their initial investigation of the brutal murder and sexual assault of Nassar which took place at her residence in Orange Walk town.
After conducting a background check on McClain, Orange Walk police discovered that he was a fugitive.
Nassar who holds dual Lebanese/British citizenship was in Belize conducting free art lessons at the Banquitas House of Culture in Orange Walk. Our sources tell us that McClain is now awaiting extradition to the United States.
