And while we are heading into Good Friday, today The Garifuna Collective was heading north today. They are going on a three week US tour where they will play festivals in North Carolina, Philadelphia and Louisiana.

"This will be a new audience but we just do what we do and we always get the reaction that we expect to get. We are Belizeans, after all we are representing Belize and we are going to give the people what they are asking for; love in our music."
"This tour is really hard. Financially it has been a struggle, unfortunate we are not getting any support any at all from the government or the private sector so we are struggling on this one. Unfortunately like I said we can't take everybody so it's only going to be 6 persons. First and foremost - we go and we represent Belize to the best of our ability."
