Corozal Cops Make Bust
posted (April 27, 2011)
Corozal police have made a major cocaine and weapon bust in a northern village. They searched the one bedroom home of 23 year old Farid Puck in San Joaquin Village where they found a large cartoon box stuffed between the refrigerator and the wall. Inside the carton were these ten parcels. Two of them were opened and they contained a white substance that looked like cocaine. And also stuffed inside the box was a black Luger 9 millimeter Pistol with a magazine containing eleven live rounds.

Puck and his common-law-wife 18 year old Maricarmen Zul Castro, a Mexican were taken to the Corozal Police Station where the drugs weighed in at 21 pounds, which has a street value of about two hundred and fifty thousand Belize dollars, if it is real. We have to insert the caution because police have found that there is a fair amount of look alike cocaine in circulation.

Both Puck and Castro have been arrested for Drug Trafficking and Keeping an illegal Firearm and Ammunition.
