The program is design to ensure that physical inactivity in wipe out - as you know physical inactivity is a major public health problem and it contributes to a variety of chronic diseases and health complications, of course including in that you have obesity, heart disease, diabetes, hypertension, cancer, depression and anxiety, arthritis and osteoporosis and so we are looking along with the different health organizations and sporting associations that are a part of the coordinating committee for this "Get up and run program" to improve overall health of Belize City residents and assist them in terms of increasing their exercise and physical activity so as to prevent and treat the particular chronic diseases. We are hoping that this "Get up and run'" launch will attract individuals to come out at the four different zones. We have split the City into four different zones and we have individuals who will be at these four zones for the launch and thereafter on a daily basis. Now for Saturday the four meeting points and people will be able to go at any of these four meeting points - whichever is closest to them. We have Buca Shell on the northern highway. And so we have these four specific areas that people will be able to congregate from between 6-6:30am tomorrow Saturday. They will be able to register for free and at 6:30am the different zones will move to the Belize City Center - that's about a mile that people will be moving and there we will have a short official of this "Get up and run" program.
