UNITED NATIONS TO ISSUE RESPONSE TO PASTOR’S STATEMENTS ON MONDAY
posted (July 29, 2011)
In our special report on Thursday night on homosexuality in Belize, Belmopan pastor Scott Stirm went on record to state that when it comes to the issue of sexual minorities, the United Nations had a specific agenda. For context, we replay his statement.

Pastor Scott Stirm, Jubilee Ministries
"They have an agenda, there are people in that that have an agenda and they are pushing this and one of the things that is fuelling some of this in Belize is that all financial aid that comes from the European Union is coming with stipulations that you must change these laws or we are going to cut you off financially - you won't get any more assistance from us and so that's one of the factors when we talk about why our people hemming and hauling on this issue its because there is big bucks behind it."

In our efforts to get comment on those statements, we contacted the UN's office in Belmopan. Officer in charge of the United Nation's Development Program Diane Wade Moore has since informed us that the United Nations resident coordinator is out of the country but will officially respond to Pastor Stirm's statements on Monday.
