Today the vehicle assigned to Commissioner of Police Crispin Jeffries knocked down a man on a motorcycle.
The accident happened just outside of Belize City at the Faber's Road junction at two pm.
The man was reportedly turning unto the Western highway from Faber's Road and the COMPOL's pickup was heading to the city on the Western Highway.
The man on the motorbike was taken by ambulance to the hospital. The extent of his injury is not known.
The COMPOL - in his usual dismissive fashion - was not giving the media any interviews and we cannot say for sure if he was driving since he is assigned a driver.
The Police Press Office has also not issued any information nor has it answered our requests for information.
