Sergeant Fitzroy Yearwood- Police Press Officer
"Monica, another senseless murder in Belize, this time on Banak Street, a man was gunned down in his house - the kitchen portion of his house. From what investigators gather so far, he was chased into his home by a gunman, who we believe was accompanied by two others. And this gunman fired several shots at him, hitting him about seven times in the body: to the head, to the chest, to the back - multiple gunshots."

Monica Bodden
"So he was gunned down inside his home?"

Sergeant Fitzroy Yearwood
"It was inside his home, yes."

Daniel Ortiz - Amandala Newspaper
"Sir, were there any witnesses?"

Sergeant Fitzroy Yearwood
Daniel, to disclose whether or not we had witnesses wouldn't be professional, because this is a murder case."

So far police have detained three persons in connection with last night's murder.

Sergeant Fitzroy Yearwood - Police Press Officer
"We know that we have three persons detained in connection with this incident, and we hope to have charges filed against them soon."

Monica Bodden
"At this point, are there any motives?

Sergeant Fitzroy Yearwood
"Well, we are trying to establish motives, but we have to examine various angles. He's a very quiet person, not the type to be all over the place, so first, to put his character as somebody that had several run-ins, it would be unfair."

Rowland Parks - Reporter Newspaper
"Do you think that his killing is gang-related?"

Sergeant Fitzroy Yearwood
"Well, Rowland, whether or not it's gang-related, we have to be realistic, most fo the killings in Belize City, right now, are being performed by members of the gangs, so we just have to do what we have to do, as police officers, to try to rid the streets of these problem people. We have to try our best to bring the case strongly against them so that we can secure convictions in the court of law."

Police recovered seven 9 millimeter shells from the scene. Fuller was a father of 4.
