Two weeks ago we showed you the stash of top shelf liquor valued at ten thousand dollars that was found in an apartment on Lizarraga Avenue in Belize City.

The receipts were in the name of Ronnell Gonzalez but he was not at home when the GSU made the bust.

But, the 28 year old has been found, and today the student of 213 west canal street was charged with recklessly harboring unaccustomed goods when he appeared today in the #6 magistrate court.

Gonzales pleaded not guilty to the charge. He was released on bail of $6,000 dollars and his case is adjourned until October 4.

The liqour and cigarettes included 48 Quarts Sunrise Wine, 26 Quarts black Label Whisky, 1 Liter Black Label Whisky, 6 Liters Baileys, 1 Quart Grey Goose Vodka, 8 Liters Absolut Vodka, 32 Cartons Marlboro Cigarettes, 11 Cartons Benson & Hedges Cigarettes, and 3 Cartons VOGUE Cigarettes.

The goods have a market value of $10,121.60 and the comptroller of customs is asking for $30,364.80, three times the market value. Gonzalez was also charged with recklessly dealing with unaccustomed goods but that charge was withdrawn.
