A 50 year old Carmelita woman was in Belize City court today for an unusual charge: trafficking almost a pound of marijuana.
Florence Cho was allegedly caught trying to smuggle the weed into the Kolby Central prison on Sunday. She went to visit an inmate and the 12 ounces of marijuana was found in a bag she was carrying.
She pleaded not guilty and was released on bail of four thousand dollars..
