Belize National Football Team's hopes of advancing to the next round in the world Cup Qualifiers are done: the team is now two and three, after losing to Guatemala in Guatemala City on Tuesday night.
In rain and wet field conditions, Guatemala bested Belize three to one.
Two of those Guatemalan goals were on penalties: In the sixth Minute, Gallardo form Guatemala was awarded a penalty and scored, and in the 81st minute, Ruiz scored another penalty.
In the 31st. minute the prolific Deon Mcauley scored the only goal for Belize.
Notably Shane Orio was injured when he collided with a Guatemalan forward.
