A 13 year old minor is accusing a Belize City man - of impregnating her. The 13 year old student of Roaring Creek Village reported to police that sometime in the month of June, she went to her uncle's home in Belize City, where the man who she has identified to Police had raped her. According to Police press officer, Fitzroy Yearwood, a doctor has confirmed that the 13 year old minor is 18 to 20 weeks pregnant.
The man - whose name was released by police - is at large and has not been charged. When he is charged we will disclose his name.
