F. Fonseca Sworn In As Leader Of The Opposition
posted (November 3, 2011)
Tonight, finally, there is a new leader of the opposition in the House of Representatives. This morning in Belmopan, Francis Fonseca took the oath as the Leader of the Opposition today from Governor General Sir Colville Young.

For an interval of 16 days, there was no parliamentary leader of the opposition after John Briceño resigned. In the interim Said Musa tried to occupy the post - only for a week he said - but for former two term Prime Minister he could not get majority support form the six opposition members.

Fonseca becomes the fourth PUP leader of the Opposition.
