No Arrests For 66 Year Old's Home Invasion
posted (November 29, 2011)
Tonight, 66 year old Castula Westby remains in a critical condition and an induced coma at the KHMH after she was stabbed 13 times during a home invasion on Sunday morning.

As we reported, it happened at about 3:30 when an intruder entered her bedroom on Zericote Street by slipping in through an open window adjoining the back verandah.

The man, put a pillow over her face and stabbed repeatedly, only removing the pillow to stab her in the face, twice in the cheek, 4 to the neck, and 5 to the chest area. Reports are that she almost lost her tongue to the stabs. The attacker then left the four inch knife on her pillow and did not take anything from inside the room, nor did he steal anything from the home - he slipped out through the same window he came in.

Tonight, police have made no arrests - and incredibly have issued no official release on the incident.
