Police are investigating a case of damage to property - but it's no regular case. Reports are that the damage was done to the Prime Minister's private residence in the Buttonwood Bay area of Belize City.
Police did not respond to our requests for information, but according to reports - something was thrown at one of the windows facing the street - above the police guard hut. Unconfirmed re[orts suggest it happened on Sunday night during a blackout.
The home is guarded by police personnel around the clock - but- from what we've been able to glean, the police on duty didn't hear or see anything.
The police presence at the home seems to have stepped up. The police we spoke to at the home today told us they know nothing about any such incident.
