Double-riders Knock Elderly Man; Succumbs 5 Days Later

An elderly man is tonight dead after he was knocked down by 2 men riding a bicycle.

On December 16th, around 9 o'clock that night, 80 year old Peter Trujeque, was walking on Albert Street towards Ferrell Lane, when upon reaching by Barrow and Williams Law Firm, he was knocked down by a pair who were double riding a bicycle.

As a result, the elderly man fell backwards and hit his head on the street and went unconscious for a short while. He was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance.

On Wednesday Trujeque succumbed to his injuries. So far police have not released the names of the persons responsible for the incident.

Trujeque lived on Rectory lane, just a couple blocks from where he was knocked down.
