There was a very scary broad daylight armed robbery in Belmopan yesterday afternoon.
It happened when staff from RECONDEV were going to make a deposit at the First Caribbean Bank.
22 year old Cashier Curlene Arthurs reports that when she got to the bank accompanied by two co-workers, as she got out of the RECONDEV pickup - an armed man was waiting. He pointed the weapon in her face and snatched the deposit bag with five thousand dollars in cash and sixteen thousand dollars in checques.
Police have not made any arrests.
