Man Seriously Hurt By Rosewood Toppling Out Of Truck

A man was seriously hurt yesterday when a length of Rosewood timber fell off a truck and crushed his legs. The victim is Antonio Edwards - seen here after the accident in this picture from PGTV.

According to PG police the accident happened in Jacinto-ville Village yesterday a little after 12:00 noon. Edwards and his three year old son were leaving from church when a batch of rosewood lumber being carried in the back of a truck slid out of the truck hitting Edwards and breaking both his legs.

He was rushed by air ambulance to the KHMH where he is currently admitted in a serious condition. The child was on his father's shoulders when the accident occurred. He flew in the air when his dad got hit, and fell to the ground with no major injury.

The driver has since been served with a notice of intended prosecution but no arrest has been made.
