On Friday night we told you that former PUP Minister Henry Canton had been reactivated as the party's Southern Coordinator. This was confirmed to us by three party sources.
But, the party's National Coordinator, Campaign manager Julius Espat told us it's not so. He says that Mike Espat, as Deputy Leader retains responsibilities for the south. But Julius Espat says that he does lean on Canton for advice as a past PUP minister and a PUP at heart.
He added, quote, "Henry knows how to win; he has never lost, and he does advise me, but he is a businessman who has a contract with his company," end quote.
Espat says he plans to lean on many other PUP veterans like Canton in the run-up to elections.
