Arthur, Again?
posted (February 9, 2012)
Here at 7news, we have reported very frequently on Arthur Young's trips to the courthouse. He is a man very well known to police and to the media, and he once claimed that the police had marked him for death.

Today, he was arraigned on two charges before Magistrate Dorothy Flowers: assaulting a police officer and using insulting words. According to the details in court, he allegedly assaulted PC 1119 Sheldon Martinez while the officer was conducting his duties. PC Martinez further alleged that during the same assault, Young used insulting words against him when he reportedly said quote, "You just come here, fool. You don't know me." Unquote.

Young pleaded not guilty to the charges, and he was granted bail of $750 dollars, which he met this morning. This case has been adjourned for March 20.

Young was not detained and brought to court by police. He walked into court without an escort because he was granted police bail in the sum of $500 yesterday.
