Mom Needs Help With Missing Girls
posted (February 14, 2012)
14 year old Alyiah Lanza is tonight being reported missing by her mother. The first form student of Anglican Cathedral Collage left home on Saturday along with her 10 year old sister to go spend the weekend with their dad. Her 10 year old sister came back home on Sunday, but Alyiah never returned.

And according to her mother, her two children didn't even make it to their dad - instead they allegedly spent the night at one of Alyiah's friend's home. Since then, no one has seen nor heard from 14 year old Alyiah. Today her mother came to our studios begging the public for help to bring her daughter back home.

Fiona Yorke - Mother of Missing Child
"My daughter left a message when I came back from dealing with a client's hair, saying that she was going to her father. And when I went to check at her father, she wasn't there. The baby came home early Sunday and took me to an area in the Gungulung area where she said she slept the Saturday night. And up to now, my 14 year-old daughter hasn't come home, Alieyah Lanza. She hasn't returned, and I am begging her, Alieyah, come home please, because there is nothing better out there for you. I grew up in the streets without a mother at your age. It's wasn't a nice experience. Come home, please. I don't have any feelings right now. I haven't slept or eaten for 3 days. I don't have any appetite to eat. My eyes can't close. I want my daughter home, please."

Monica Bodden
"Do you think that your daughter is being influenced?"

Fiona Yorke
"I think that she is being influenced because she wants to be out there just like what she is seeing other people doing. She sees what others are doing, and others are showing her what they are doing, and so, she wants to do the same thing. They will find you, so it's better that you come home. You will be found; Belize is small. Whoever is holding you without your consent - and you make sure that you don't get anybody in trouble - come home before it gets worse."

If anyone knows the whereabouts of 14 year old Alyiah you are asked to contact the nearest police station.
