6k Weed Plants Up In Smoke

A marijuana plantation containing 6254 plants was found three miles away from a Mayan archaeological site in the Toledo district.

The plantation was uncovered by the Police Anti Drug Unit between 5 a.m. and 8 a.m. this morning.

It was found north of Nim Li Punit, a Mayan archaeological site on the outskirts of Indian creek village, and measured approximately 100 ft by 100 ft.

All 6254 plants which ranged from two to four feet in height were uprooted and destroyed, and no one was found in the area.
