A man was shot last night in Belize City - in the middle of a city-wide blackout.
According to reports it happened in the Collet Area - in a street near the Cemetery. Around 11:22, in the pitch black of a blackout night, a gunman fired a shot into the dark which caught 52 year old Domingo Teul in his hands.
He was taken to the KHMH and is in a stable condition.
By all appearances, the gunman did not target Teul; they just fired idly into the dark.
