Jessel Lauriano, Miss Earth Belize 2012
"I came out very strong in the beginning and at the end - at the questions and answers I was a bit nervous, but I still turned out to be Miss Earth."

Monica Bodden
"What was the most challenging part for you?"

Jessel Lauriano, Miss Earth Belize 2012
"I think the questions and answers segment because like other pageants we've always seen the questions before but at the night of the pageant that's when each girl had turned in their questions, so it was a bot nerve racking because we don't know what's going to be asked."

Monica Bodden
"Tell us a little bit about your journey leading up to the pageant. What was it like working along with other girls and so forth?"

Jessel Lauriano, Miss Earth Belize 2012
"It was good, I've known Idolly, I have met new friends; Katalina and Shanilee. I like them a lot and we are still friends after the pageant and the hard work with Ms. Darlene trying to be at every promotion to get you costumes, to be fit for the pageant - it was hard but it all paid off in the end."

"Actually being crowned was the most enjoyable part. I couldn't believe that I won, I entered several pageants and I've never won any before, so that was the most important part of me."

Monica Bodden
"How does it feel to be Miss Earth Belize?"

Jessel Lauriano, Miss Earth Belize 2012
"It's a wonderful feeling especially since I know that I will be helping a lot with the environment trying to see how we can do civic pride and plant more trees."

And first runner up Miss Air went to Idolly Saldivar while second runner up Miss Water went to Katalina Jones and third runner up Miss Fire went to Claudia Lara.
