And while that accident is tonight's headline - the biggest news of the day is another murder in the city.
This one is especially tragic because the victim was a working man on his jobsite.
43 year old David Myvette, a construction supervisor was working on one of the concrete streets in Lake Independence, Electric Avenue.
But that is also a gang affiliated area - and he was targeted for a vicious killing.
