Belize's high Commissioner to the UK, Perla Perdomo has been in the UK since shortly after the general elections - but she hit the big time yesterday when she got a private audience with Queen Elizabeth - who in an official release is referred to as The Queen of Belize.
The meeting was held at Buckingham Palace and was a formality to recognize Perdomo's assumption of duties as High Commissioner for Belize.
