A watchman was killed by two watchdogs in Southern Belize on Tuesday night. The next morning at 7:00 am, the watchman, 66 year old Clive Bernard Coe was found dead at his workplace, Agriculture Development Service at 9 ¼ Mile on the Stann Creek Valley Road.
Police say he was lying face up under the work shed with injuries to the face, arms and right leg - and bit marks all over his body. Two Fila Brasileiro dogs - which help him watch the compound were found beside him - one on each side. The dogs look like something like these ones we found on the internet.
Police believe the dogs killed him - even though he raised them form they were pups. The dogs are two years old and belong to the company. They were put down with a gunshot this morning by the owner.
The Fila Brasileiro is a rare and highly sought after breed of dog - and, according to WIKEPEDIA, in some countries it is illegal to own them and they are automatically classified as a dangerous dog in other countries.
