After a 4-day break, 2 of which of was due to the illness in the family
of a juror, the quadruple murder trial of Leslie Pipersburgh and Patrick Robateau
resumed today.
Week 3 of the trial began this afternoon with police constable Benito Salam
returning to the stand. He was followed by Chrisa Levy - the cashier working
at Bowen and Bowen the night of the murder and Corporal Sean Garoy who was one
of the first police officers to respond to the scene.
By our count there are now about 14 witnesses to go for the prosecution
including more police investigators and forensic analysts. Our coverage of the
trial continues tomorrow.
