Tonight, the Gang Suppression Unit is in possession of almost 10 kilos of marijuana which was found yesterday.
Members of the unit were out conducting anti-drug operations in the Fabers Road extension area, when they decided to search a savannah area behind a residence of a reputed drug trafficker.
This led to the discovery of a plastic bag which contained 70 grams of cannabis, and 89 parcels which contained a total of 10.95 kilograms – or 29.2 pounds of cannabis.
No one was in the area, so it was labeled as found property.
