But, the game is about an hour away, and establishments around the country are planning to make quite an event of it by providing their customers with big screen showings.
The Belize City Council is one of those, and this evening, the PR officer for the Council stopped by to tell the city residents that they will be showing it on a big screen.
Here's how he explained why you should come out:

"Across the country people are getting ready to view the Jaguars going up against the United States national team and we want to do our part in Belize City so we will be having a big screen out at the Memorial Park and we are inviting supporters of our national team, come on out to the Memorial Park and let's ride with our team like only Belizeans can do it. Let them feel like and hear us all the way from Portland, Oregon, all in the way in the jewel. We need you all to come out and let's support the team. It's on the big screen at the Memorial Park, 8:30 tonight and I've just been informed that there'll be food and drinks on sale so you can come on and out and let's make it a total Belize national team, the Jaguars having a party at the Memorial Park tonight starting at 8:30."
And if you're unable to reach any of those big game showings, Channel 7 will be airing it live.
