GSU Arrests Major Gang Names
posted (July 17, 2013)
Tonight, 26 year-old Kareem "Robbery" Lopez is out on bail after he was taken to Magistrate's Court for failure to report to police as a deportee.

According to the Gang Suppression Unit, they detained him yesterday morning after he repeatedly failed to report to police after being deported from the US for illegal entry.

As a result, he was charged with failure to report to police, and failing to notify the Commissioner of Police of a change of residence.

He was arraigned today before Magistrate Clive Lino, who granted him bail of $3,000. He was able to meet it, and he must return to court on August 15.

According to the GSU, Lopez is a reputed member of the George Street Gang.

Another deportee who the GSU arrested yesterday was 27 year-old Brandon "BT" Tillett. They detained him at an apartment complex at #100 George Street.

According to the GSU, he was deported earlier this year from the US for illegal entry, and he was supposed to report to police and notify them whenever he changed his residence.

He didn't inform them of such a change and as a result, he was charged with failure to notify the Commissioner of Police of a change of residence.

The GSU believes that he is a member of the George Street Gang.

And the last individual the GSU picked up yesterday, who they believe is a very influential gang figure is 36 year-old Roger Anthony, a resident of Crooked Tree Village, and the purported leader of the Ghost Town Crips Gang.

They spotted him on Mayflower Street associating with 8 reputed members of the Ghost Town Crips, which was in direct contravention of the orders of his deportation from the US for illegal entry.

Viewers will recall that on Thursday of last week, our news team went through the Ghost Town area to speak with residents who were angry with what they say is sustained police harassment.

On February 16, ANTHONY had been arrested and charged for professing to be the leader of Ghost Town Crips Gang and Display of support to a Criminal gang in Public after he was found wearing a blue Dickies Shirt displaying Ghost Town Crips Gang Insignia. He had pleaded guilty for both offences.
