And while those students learn to play Basketball from Galen University, a team of talented young men have performed excellently at a tournament in Mexico.
The Hoop Dreams Basketball Club participated in the U16 Copa Cancun Basketball Tournament this weekend along with 12 teams.
Hoop Dreams defeated 4 of these teams in division A with a margin as large as 50 points, and none of their opponents got closer than 27-points to them.
They advanced to the semi-finals, and then to the finals, where they were finally defeated. They didn't leave empty handed because Glincy "Cope" Lopez was named MVP of the tournament, and the team's coach, Brads Neal, was named Coach of the Tournament.
