And continuing with the Christmas hampers, On Wednesday, 7News showed you the final arrangements that the Police Precinct 1 was making to deliver their Food Hampers to needy residents in their immediate surroundings. Well, today was delivery day, and we got a chance to follow them around and see the reaction of those persons who got the donation in hand.
Today, the officer commanding Community Police told us that it was well worth the effort:

"We are delivering only in Precinct 1. I have delivered 5 so far and have 35 more to go, but sadly, we don't have to give everybody, so people are always happy to receive a little give or a token from someone. We don't want anyone to be hungry on Christmas day. The Belize Police Department, we are here bridging the gap with the police and the community, so we are just doing our part."
