A study released by Unicef has shown some alarming trends in child nutrition. It's called the MICS, a survey of the heights and weights of all children under the age of five years old. It found that under-weight children - indicating malnourishment were highest in the Stann Creek District.
Maya Children had the highest rate of being underweight at 8%, followed closely by Garifuna Children.
We'll have more on this study next week.
