34 year-Angel Dorado is spending the first night of a 6-month prison sentence after he was convicted of peeping into a window at a young girl.

The 13 year-old female along with her aunt and her mother testified that on February 4, 2014, just before 6 that morning, she had just exited her bathroom with a towel wrapped around her when she caught Dorado peeping into her room.

In court, he told the court that they fabricated the story against him because they had a grievance against him over the pulling of mango and limes from off his property at Mile 8. The mother of the child told the court that ever since he came to live in the area, he has been terrorizing people in the Mile 8 Community and that she had to take a stand and not let him take advantage of any of her children. Dorado also indicated to the court that he was only passing through the teenager's yard and that he was never peeping at her.

Chief Magistrate Smith found him guilty after reviewing all the evidence, and she sentenced him to 6 months in jail because it is not his first offence. She also ordered that he had to apologize to the child for violating her privacy.

He was charged for a gang tattoo last week.
