On this newscast, we very regularly report on sex crimes in which men take advantage of female victims. Well, tonight, the story is about a 23 woman who is accused of taking advantage of a 14 year-old boy from Belmopan in February of this year.
The Commanding Officer in the capital told us that the woman has been charged with carnal knowledge:

"A report made by a 14 year old male minor of Belmopan that sometime in the month of February of this year a female forcibly had sex intercourse with him. That female has been identified as Ms. Selma Markita Ortiz, she has been charged, but was granted bail recently. This report was made to us on the 18th September and we acted on it and the person has since been charged and taken to court."
The woman was granted bail, which she couldn't meet after being arraigned in Magistrate's Court, but we understand that she is now out on bail.
