Police have charged one of their own with disciplinary charges because his handcuffs were found with the body of Ramon Cervantes Sr., the well known
businessman and former politician who was abducted and murdered.
It's of note because the man claiming to be Manuel Castillo, who allegedly spoke to the Cervantez family, said in the phone call that there was police
involvement in the murder.
As we've told you, investigators found police handcuffs with Ramon Sr's body in the shallow grave where he was inhumanely dumped. They have determined
that it belongs to Police Constable Javier Alvarez. Sources tell us that he was fined $200 by disciplinary body today, and he will face serious
reprimand by the department.
