He's a member of Belize's National A Football Team, but tonight, Cristobal Gilharry continues to deal with an allegation of unlawful sexual intercourse.
The 34 year old Verdes football player, an office assistant at Mclean Insurance Brokers was remanded into custody on Tuesday on a charge of unlawful sexual intercourse. But, with the help of his attorney, Dickey Bradley, he was released today on bail.
Bradley applied to the Supreme Court for bail, and after hearing the application Madam Justice Antoinette Moore offered him bail of $6,000.
Gilharry was arraigned at Belmopan Magistrate's Court on Tuesday, December 16. The charge against him arose for an incident which occurred on November 21, 2014 in which a 15 year old girl alleged that he had sex with her.
