stores will be keep the lights on until the shelves are bare! And why not? After all who wants to buy a gift next week?
According to downtown businesses like Mikado's and Hofius, that flow of Christmas shoppers starts to pour in from early and mid October right up to
Christmas eve. So has this been a successful year on the business end? The managers of these long established stores were very upbeat when we asked
them today.
Neena told us that over 400 people shopped at Mikado's daily during this season.
