On Sunday, Jose Sanchez's social media news site posted a story that John Zabaneh had passed away. Well, he didn't - and the story was taken down - but today Zabaneh called us to complain about the distress that the bogus report caused him. He says that the report reached his 87 year old mother in Dangriga first - and, quote, "it nearly killed her." Zabaneh says he was in Placencia buying ice cream with his kids when he started to get calls - friends trying to find out if it was true. Zabaneh says those calls persist until today - and he just wanted to tell us, that he's alive and well and, basically, that, in the words of Mark Twain, the reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated'"
