Today, the Taiwanese Ambassador to Belize Benjamin Ho handed over a five million US dollar cheque to Prime Minister Dean Barrow. As we told you last
night, it's grant money to be used for a whole bunch of stuff, including, the Belize City Southside Poverty Alleviation Project, the extension of the
Southern Highway to Jalacte in the Toledo District, and for the new Macal River Bridge in San Ignacio/Santa Elena.
