The Sandhill stabbing case went to court today. Both the 37 year old father and the 16 year old boy were charged. The 37 year old father was charged with wounding when he appeared before Magistrate Deborah Rogers this morning. The father was granted bail of $500 plus one surety. But there are a number of conditions to his bail – the father was ordered to stay away from the 16 year old boy as well as his family. His next court date is set for October 5th , 2015. As for the 16 year old boy he was charged with unlawful carnal knowledge. He was not remanded and no plea was taken. Because minors are involved we can't show you any photographs of the accused.

As we reported, on Monday afternoon the 37 year old father caught the 16 year old boy having sex with his 13 year old daughter in their house. In a rage, the father punched the boy several times in his face and head, choked him until went unconscious and grabbed a pliers and stabbed the boy. After the boy regained consciousness the father apparently went to get a large knife but the boy managed to get away.
