An agreement was signed today between Agriculture Minister Gaspar Vega and Taiwanese Ambassador Benjamin Ho. It's 1.27 million US dollars in technical assistance funds for the "Genetic Improvement for Sheep and Goat Breeding." The three year project hopes to improve the genetic blood lines of both the sheep and goat livestock through natural breeding and an artificial insemination program. This si with a view to tapping into the regional export market.
