Police are still investigating yesterday's stabbing death in the city. As we told you, 45 year old Lindbert Brown was stabbed with a pint yesterday on Far West Street. Brown was hanging out with two friends, a male and a female when a fight broke out. Brown attacked the female with a broken pint bottle - and that's when his male friend intervened, wrested the bottle away from him and then stabbed Brown in the head and neck. Police say all 3 persons are mentally challenged and they are not treating the case as murder. The case file has been sent to the DPP's office for review.
