Placencia Police are reporting that they found a handgun right on the beach.
At around 11:20 a.m. the Placencia Quick Response team received intelligence that a gun had been spotted on the beach near The Placencia. They showed up, and retrieved a .38 special revolver which appears to have rusted over quite a bit.
No one was in the area, and so, the gun was deposited as found property.
